Tanjung Sepat Trip Day 1 (Throwback)

So it was just after the last exam paper finished. My friends and I gathered at 1pm and departed to Zi Yann's house at Tanjung Sepat.

We were arriving Tanjung Sepat after 3pm. It was a relaxing trip, so we decide most things on random. Therefore, we suddenly dropped by Sepang Gold Coast beach.
It has a nice breeze there, the sand is white too. But it was awful, full of garbage and the sea water is in brownish color with a lot of bubbles. From what I heard, sea water with bubbles means badly polluted. We spent most of the time by the beach, playing kites B-) B-)
It was the only happy moment on the dirty beach. Though, I was cut by the kite's string while chasing the falling kite.

The big wind
We then continue our journey to Zi Yann's house. It was around 4pm. We just slacked around at his house. His mom warmed some fried fishballs for us. The fishballs were made by his uncle apparently. Small town life is indeed joyful with things all made by people we know :)
I took the opportunity to wash my injuries. We spent time joke around and plan for our trip. When the strong evening heat has subsided, we went to the town's beach, hidden deep in the palm tree orchards where you only know how to go by the town's people's guide.

This beach, is so much more beautiful than the one before, although the wind was not big enough for kites, the environment is very clean. And with the mangrove forest nearby, unharmed by tourists or government so-called improving tourism attraction program, it is a perfect spot for photos :-)

The mangrove forest

The white sand
We stayed until sunset, which was also our objective of going to a beach. Much to my surprise, the beach is so protected by the people and so much unharmed that when the sun is setting, we can heard a lot of seabirds flying and chirping back to their habitat, the mangrove forest. If I must say one bad thing about it, it was the mosquitoes. They said they are sea mosquitoes, with their bites will only be itching after a day.
ps. we met the China CCTV crews shooting film about the beach
pss. we were fighting who to travel to the beach on Zi Yann's motorcycle, and KM won the round

After the beach, we went for dinner beside the famous Lovers' Bridge (情人桥). We were not very lucky as the bridge fell apart month before and is currently undergoing repair and upgrade. We had a superb enjoyable dinner, with all the seafood XD

Poor fishballs soup could not make it to the photo shooting session

Salted egg fried with crabs

Lala steamed with soup

Fried squid

Fish with sauce

After dinner, we went to explore the photo shooting spots just beside the restaurant. It has a bunch of antiques that are similar to Penang's mural. We stayed around until the shop managing the area was closing.
ps. I don't know about the price because Zi Yann's father insisted on paying and not letting us know the price
pss. I won the round to ride the bike to the restaurant

We went back to the house after dinner and had our baths. It's been a long time since I last bathe in cold water and feeling so refreshed. When everyone has done bathing, we gathered and had a gift exchange session, and then there's card games and off to sleep.
