Happy Chinese New Year

Happy CNY!!
It's shocking how fast the time passes..
But well, life goes on.

So, my maternal grandmother is spending her holidays with us this year.
It's quite an exciting one because we are not going back to Kota Bharu for her sake.
And our original plan of going Kulai, Johor and Singapore is cancelled because my brother manages to come back home.
Therefore, this year we are finally spending our CNY freely!

Our reunion dinner wasn't the typical one, we had a simple steamboat at home and went to sleep.
On the first day of CNY, we went to Kerayong, Pahang to visit my dad's godmother.
She's so happy and she cooks delicious meal for us.
And her shocked face can clearly be seen when she finds out that we are going home in the evening.
She of course tried to make us stay but we come home anyway.

We visited my childhood babysitter's family on the next day.
I'm happy that uncle is getting more extrovert as time passes...
He had had a difficult time accepting aunty's death..
And so, before we came home, we visited her grave and we had a nice time talking to each other there.

Saturday is the day where we are out of any plan.
Chyun came over to visit and I left with him to Aeon for cinema and dinner with his family.
The movie got quite late and I'm lucky that I got home before midnight.

And then here comes Sunday...
We went to visit my dad's friend in the morning and had a so-so taste Korean food that cause over hundreds (disappointed)
I'm going back to Sg Long in the evening, and my brother is going back to Singapore early in Monday morning.
My grandma seems to be quite moody for the separation..

This new year isn't my lucky holidays.
I had my period starting reunion night, and it pained me awake at dawn.
Even though I was looking forward to visit my godgrandma, the journey suffered a lot.
And then I had food poisoning on Saturday night.
Everyone was so worried and shock that I look so pale, I was fainting too...

P.s. I had a reunion lunch with Chyun's family
